​The e-learning course was developed through an interactive process and resulted from a transnational cooperation between academia, private sector research, correctional sector representatives and practitioners. The course is currently being piloted in Portugal, France, Bulgaria and Greece and fine-tuned after collecting feedback

AIMS

By the end of the course you will be able to know & discuss:
  • Increase the understanding of the radicalisation process in prisons and probation; 
  • Raise awareness, to different types of practitioners (prison staff, probation staff, and community organisation professionals), concerning the various tools and procedures for assessing radicalisation risk in the context of prisons and probation;
  • Foster the knowledge regarding prison regime choices and the essentials of dynamic security;
  • And present the existing programmes and intervention strategies of radicalisation prevention for prison and probation.
